Pastor Brady was a full time law enforcement officer for 13 years beginning with the Wood
County Sheriff’s Department and ending with the Parkersburg Police Department.

His first pastoral experience came in 1987 while still serving with the Parkersburg Police Department.  Since then he has served churches in Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. For the past ten years he has served here at Homeland Community Church as Senior Pastor.

He served as chaplain for police departments in Newton and Wilmington, North Carolina and currently serves in that capacity for the Wood County Sheriff’s Department. He is President of Centurion Bible College and an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice program at Ohio Valley University.

He was a Crusade Director for Clyde Dupin Ministries and ministry manager for NASCAR owner/driver Randy MacDonald. He has been a consultant to several other evangelistic ministries.

Brady is the author of four publications, Wearing the Badge Without it Wearing You Down, Walking a New Beat, Beyond Reproach, and the Crusade Director’s Manual.  

He is a graduate of the Basic Police Training School at the West Virginia State Police Academy, has a M.A. in Ministry from Carolina University of Theology and a Ph.D. in Religion from Christian Bible College in Rocky Mount, NC.
